PPAI

PPAI stands for Promotional Products Association International. The Association was founded in 1904 by 12 manufacturers of promotional products and currently represents over 25,000 companies within the promotional products industry.

In 1906 the PPAI had 56 members and one honorary member, Henry S. Bunting, wrote a book about promotional products which was widely recognized at the time for bringing light to the newly founded industry. His publication and book focused on how businesses could use these advertising items to grow their organizations.

In 1914 the PPAI held their first tradeshow in which distributors and suppliers got together. They now hold the PPAI Expo every January in Las Vegas. This has become one of the best places to learn about promotional product trents and network with like minded individuals within the industry.
