What is it people love about coming to your place of business? Why do they keep coming back? Run contests, share fun things and pictures revolving around your company. Anything you can do to make your brand more human will pay back dividends. People relate to people more than people relate to business. Get personal. Respond to comments.

Chances are the people that love your company (or people you think would love your company) also have similar hobbies and interest. Meet Up can be an awesome way to find people and grow your brand beyond just the office. If you sell health supplements for example, you could start a health meet up talking about different ways to improve your health. Maybe once a month do a hiking trail with all your meet up members. You would be surprised how much your customers or potential customers would love this extra human connection, revolving around your brand. On websites like Meet Up you can charge your members, but I recommend keeping it free and writing it off as a marketing expense.
Tres: Share your Expertise via Content!
If you started a company or work in a specific department, it wasn’t by accident. It is time to share that brilliance you have in your noggin. The best way to share it is creating and sharing content on the internet. There are a variety of ways to do it: written form, uploading a video, hosting a webinar, etc. If your website / social profiles are YOU, your content is your PERSONALITY. Make sure people know who you are and what you are all about, the best way to do this is create a format you can consistently give your target market content such as a blog or youtube channel.
I still cannot believe how many companies are not paying attention to this area, but if you start paying attention to it you can grow your company beyond belief. If you have been paying attention to it up until reading this, don’t take your eye off the ball it’s still one of the best ways to grow your brand.
